Transforming the response to sudden cardiac arrest takes vision, persistence and a strong multidisciplinary village.

CanSAVE’s approach to transforming the response to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is to integrate expertise across medicine, engineering and social sciences, the lived experiences of survivors of SCA, advocacy and engagement organizations and community groups across Canada. Together we are developing research and collaboration strategies that extend well beyond traditional emergency response models. Our members reflect diverse disciplinary areas and our advisory and collaborative partners come from private industry and all levels of government. Our members are leaders in transformative resuscitation and survivorship research areas and serve as advisory and collaborative partners in providing strategic direction and support for our research efforts.
