CanSAVE Symposium 2025

BC RESURECT is a collaborative of clinicians, scientists, BC Emergency Health Services, BC Fire Department First Responders and Health Authorities in BC that are focused on improving survival from sudden cardiac arrest through clinical trials, observational studies, surveillance, quality improvement initiatives, knowledge generation, and knowledge implementation.

• If you experience travel delays and will not arrive on the 22, please WhatsApp or Text Uda at +1-778-994-6992.
• If you are travelling with an extra guest, please let the Hotel know. There is an additional $30 dollar per night fee that guests are 
  responsible for.
• Parking at the hotel for US guests is covered by us. 

• Lyft, Uber, 25 -35 minutes / $30-35 CAD, but variable.
• Taxi 25-35 minutes / $32 CAD flat rate
• Metro- YVR Canada Line to Waterfront station and a 5 minute walk to hotel - 40 minutes / $10 CAD RT

Reimbursement Maximums:

• Canadian and US flights will be reimbursed up to a maximum of  $1,000 CAD.
• International flights will be reimbursed up to a maximum of  $2,500 CAD.
• Participants travelling by car will be reimbursed for round-trip mileage.  
  Uda, the Symposium Coordinator, will reach out to you with mileage reimbursement details. 
  
  *Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse you for taxis or meals on the route.

Reimbursement Process:  
Reimbursements will be processed at the start of the conference. 
Please email all the following documents and information to Uda, Symposium Coordinator, as soon as possible. 

International flight reimbursement documents must include:

• A copy of your round-trip ticket booking, itemized, including taxes and fees.
• A credit card statement showing the purchase.
• A Completed International Pay Request Form  for direct deposits to your bank in your currency.

Canadian flight reimbursement documents must include:

• A copy of your round-trip ticket booking, itemized, including taxes and fees.
• A credit card statement showing the purchase.
• A completed Electronic Fund Transfer Form for direct deposits to your bank.
  • If you prefer a check, no banking form is needed; please let Uda know the payee’s full name and address.

US flight reimbursement documents must include:

• A copy of your round-trip ticket booking, itemized, including taxes and fees.
• A credit card statement showing the purchase.
• A completed Automated Clearing House Form  for direct deposits in USD to your bank.
  • If you prefer a check, the banking form is not needed; please let Uda know the payee’s full name and address.
